Orange is one of those colours that people seem to either love or hate. I’ve heard florists say that its the least requested colour for wedding flowers – and that they are often told ‘anything but orange’!
I like orange. It’s loud and it’s in your face, but it’s also warm and friendly. You know where you are with orange. And what better event than a wedding to make a bold statement with an unforgettable colour?
Orange is also great for paler brides and bridesmaids, as it warms up fair skin.
One of Pantone’s autumn colours for 2013 is koi, which is a rich, deep, almost reddish orange. I hope that this koi wedding inspiration board inspires you to consider orange as a contender for your wedding colour scheme.
