Lemon yellow wedding inspiration

Yellow: the colour of happiness.  What better theme for a wedding celebration?

And Lemon Zest is one the Pantone colours for 2013.  Sunny, happy lemon yellow is a vibrant summer wedding trend this year and here is just a taster for some inspiration.  For more ideas, check out my Lemon Zest Pinterest pin board.

Lemon Zest Wedding inspiration

Yellow and white wedding cake: style me pretty, white and yellow wedding bouquet: style me pretty, yellow bridesmaid dresses: Watters and Watters, style me pretty, yellow shoes: style me pretty, mini lemon meringue tarts: Pinterest, yellow bridesmaid dress by Fleet Collection on Etsy, flower girl dress with yellow Peter Pan collar: Evelyn Fields on Etsy

And I’m saving the best to last.  This soft, feminine yellow chiffon dress from colorfulday01 on Etsy would make a welcome dress for a bridesmaid and could be worn again and again.

There are so many images of striking yellow wedding bouquets around.  Classic yellow roses and modern mimosa and balls of craspedia are very popular.  It’s also good to see daisies, bouquets of sweet-smelling freesias and spring arrangements containing daffodils.  But my favourite yellow bouquet is this one, below.  It’s textured, full of unusual flowers and just so dreamily romantic.  The centrepiece is a big dahlia, one of the least fashionable flowers (which I feel is poised on the verge of comeback).  I love, love, love this bouquet.  Be inspired.  Be very inspired!
